Park at the Cabin Creek Sno-park (Exit 63 on I-90)... walk across the freeway overpass and start skiing if any snow is left.

There is still 8 inches of snow on the Kachess Lake Road.

After an eighth of a mile on the Kachess Lake Road, turn right and head up FS 4822.

Whoa... shortly after getting on FS 4822 we had to take our skis off and boot it for an eighth of mile until we found continuous snow again.

The last turn before the Mile One mark... the snow is getting thin on this sun-exposed area.

Denali Girl arrives at the 'Y' intersection (2 mile mark) in the road... Keechelus Lake, Silver Peak and Granite Mountain in the distance.

Being the gentleman that I am, I let Denali Girl lead the way past the avalanche chute.

Arriving at the Amabilis Plateau (mile 4)... nice views of Keechelus Lake and out towards Snoqualmie Pass.

From the plateau... Snoqualmie Pass peaks on the far left to Mount Daniel on the right.

The Amabilis Mountain summit (4554') in the foreground... Mt. Hinman and Mt. Daniel up valley... the total ski tour is 9 miles roundtrip, gaining 2154 feet of elevation.
