Broken Hand West - 9.7.2013
Directions from the main entrance to the Mt. Bachelor Ski Area on Cascades Lake Hwy to the trailhead that we used to access Broken Hand West.

Our approximate route to Broken Hand West. ~6 miles roundtrip, gaining ~1500 feet of elevation. Roads 370 and 380 require a high clearance vehicle.

It doesn't take long to get a nice view of Broken Top.

After hiking a half-mile we will take the fork to the right... the left fork goes over to Green Lakes and the Crater Ditch Trail... Broken Hand is on the right side of the photo.
