A Sno-Park permit is required if you park at the large parking lot at Blewett Pass... however, there is free parking .7 miles east of the pass... room for perhaps 6 cars.

You will see this sign where we parked (3938')... this is one of the access points for Tronsen Basin Ski Trails.

We only hiked the trail system for an eighth of a mile... then took a direct route along a rib in the direction of Windy Knob.

Eventually we connected with the Upper Tronsen Trail... and are heading toward Windy Knob in the distance.

We will leave the Upper Tronsen Trail and take the Lillaby Tie Trail up to the Haney Meadow Trail.
