We parked at the Alpental Ski Area (3120')... Denny Mountain is above the ski area... lots of people skipping work on this gorgeous day.

Continue a very short distance up the road from the parking lot and find an unsigned path that you will want to follow... the trailhead for Snow Lake is also in this photo on the far left.

Don't think of this as a trail... it is only a path... a very steep path.

The huge boulder field at ~4000 feet... follow the path up another 400 feet of elevation to near the base of the cliffs above.

A beautiful waterfall at the stream crossing at ~4400 feet.

Out of the trees now and on the south ridge of Snoqualmie Mountain... looking across a drainage to Cave Ridge.

High enough now to get a nice view of Denny Mountain, The Tooth, Bryant Peak, and Chair Peak.
