Mount Forgotten - 10.29.2013
Take the Quarry Road exit off of the roundabout just west of Granite Falls... and stay on Quarry Road thru two more roundabouts until you reach the Mountain Loop Highway.

From the junction of Quarry Road and the Mountain Loop Highway... continue 25.3 miles to and park on the left side of the highway.

After the Mountain Loop Highway crosses Perry Creek watch for this sign saying that the trailhead is another .9 miles of a drive. This is where you will want to park on the left side of the road.

There is only room for two cars on the left side of the highway (1800').

After hiking ~.75 miles from the highway we reached the old Perry Creek Trailhead.

After hiking 4 miles we have reached Mt. Forgotten Meadows 5200')... is there really a trail to the summit of Mount Forgotten?

We will have to give back 150 feet of elevation and then traverse over to the east side of the mountain.
