Lower Norton Lake is in the Smoky Range near Ketchum, Idaho... park at 7900' and reach the lake after hiking 1.75 miles.

Another .25 miles of hiking brings you to Upper Norton Lake (9114')... the trail switchbacks up to the ridge on the right.

I've never seen anything like this on a summit... I had to be careful to not trip on the wiring that held it in place.
