Start (2400') on the Kachess Ridge Trail #1315.

After 2 miles of hiking we found the spur trail that goes up to Beacon Ridge Trail... this is where Trail #1315 crosses Silver Creek for the first of four times.

We found a dusting of snow at ~4600 feet.

The west summit of French Cabin Mtn... near the intersection for the unsigned Trail #1308.1 which will take us over to the south ridge of French Cabin Mtn.

The west summit of French Cabin Mtn is on the right... we have reached the south ridge of French Cabin Mtn and have left the trail to start the scramble for the summit.

We were careful to avoid the ice patches on our scramble for the summit.
