Kelly Mountain - 7.27.2010
From the town of Hailey, Idaho... drive the Croy Creek Road to the end of pavement... continue driving 4.5 more miles to the Kelly Gulch Road which is unsigned... drive the Kelly Gulch Road for .7 miles and cross Kelly Gulch Creek... we continued on the road for another 1.6 miles, parked and started hiking.

We are on the Croy Creek Road... and this is the unsigned Kelly Gulch Road... use the left fork for the easiest access although both roads go to the same place.

We drove across the creek after driving .7 miles on the Kelly Creek Road.

We parked 1.6 miles beyond the Kelly Gulch Creek crossing at ~6500 feet.

Kelly Mountain... we will walk the road for a short distance and climb up to Kelly's south ridge on the right.

We chose to descend via Kelly's west ridge.

Looking down Kelly Gulch from Kelly's west ridge... a couple hundred feet above the road... less than a mile from the car... the hike was ~4 miles roundtrip, gaining ~2300 feet of elevation.
