Meany Crest and Point 7573 - 8.20.2010
Our general route to Meany Crest and Point 7573 above Summerland in Mount Rainier National Park... ~10 miles roundtrip, gaining ~3800 feet of elevation.

Use the White River entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park... drive ~3 miles to the parking area just beyond the Fryingpan Creek bridge (3800').

At 3.2 miles there is a footbridge... while waiting for the rest of our group I hiked for an eighth of a mile along the north side of Fryingpan Creek and got this view of Little Tahoma and Mt. Rainier.
