The Tanks - 9.12.2010
Capitol Reef National Park is a 1,050 mile drive from Kent, WA... we took two and a half days to drive to our base camp in Torrey, Utah on the west side of the park.

From the Visitor Center, drive the Scenic Drive for 9 miles to the end of pavement... then follow a dirt road for two miles to the Tanks trailhead.
