Cody Peak - 8.7.2011
Our general route to the summit of Point 10,799 (a.k.a Cody Peak)... ~6 miles roundtrip, gaining ~1900 feet of elevation.

This was our view of Cody Peak (pyramid on the right) on our drive from Jackson to Teton Village.

The tram at Jackson Hole ski resort would serve as our trailhead (6300').
|
It took about 15 minutes on the tram to gain 4100 feet of elevation to the top of Rendezvous Mountain... looking north here... The Grand Teton is the highest one on the right.

We will take the Rendezvous Mtn Trail for a short distance... losing even more elevation.

We will continue down to ~9400 feet on the Rendezvous Mtn Trail... then use the trail to get back up to ~9600 feet... then leave the trail and follow the ridge to Point 10,215 above.
