MTTA High Hut - 12.3.2011
From Whittaker's Bunkhouse in Ashford, drive 2.4 miles east on State Route 706... turn right on Kernahan Road... drive 1.4 miles to Paradise Estates... then follow the brown signs for 6.3 miles to the first MTTA sno-park... today I was able to drive another mile to the second sno-park (3000').

We walked the first half-mile of the road... too steep and icy to get any grip from our skis.

After skiing ~1 mile we could see the High Hut on the ridge above.
