Keechelus Ridge - 1.10.2012
rodman's GPS route of our snowshoe trip to the radio tower on Keechelus Ridge... 7.6 miles roundtrip, gaining 2554 feet of elevation.
We parked (~2520') at the Price Creek Sno-Park... exit #61 off of I-90... a sno-park permit is required.
From the sno-park, a short connector trail took us to FS 4832... where we turned left.
We weren't on FS 4832 very long before it crossed Noble Creek.
Then FS 4832 crossed Price Creek... and shortly after this crossing, turn right onto an obvious path/road and start going uphill.
Izzy leads the way... snowshoes were not needed as long as we stayed on the road.
After hiking for at least an hour, things started to open up a bit.
Izzy (4 legs), Snowdog and rodman were happy to finally find the sunshine.

The weather to the south doesn't look very good.

Group shot near our high point for the day... rodman, Snowdog, Izzy and ragman.
Some of the Shadow People were also present.
We are in the sunshine... looking at the bad weather to the west... Silver Peak (center) has the only sunshine in the distance.
Switching to snowshoes for our descent... where we will take a much more direct route than we used on the ascent.
