Take Exit 80 off of I-90... locate the Brick Tavern on South 1st Street in the town of Roslyn... then follow the instructions above.

We parked in the plowed area on the west side of Salmon La Sac Road... just before the road crosses Newport Creek.

From the parking area we are making a short walk on the Salmon La Sac Road... crossing Newport Creek and looking for Newport Creek Drive.

Leave Salmon La Sac Road and head uphill on Newport Creek Drive.

After hiking for ~2 miles we have reached the official Hex Mountain trailhead.
