We arrived at a very foggy Lake Lillian (~4800') after gaining 1000 feet of elevation in a very steep mile.

We decided to hike around the west side of Lake Lillian... with the idea of hiking up to the top of Dungeon Peak before going on over to the high point on Rampart Ridge.

The fog cover made for an easy decision to abandon the idea of doing Dungeon Peak and start the half-mile traverse over to the more familiar Rampart Ridge.

We returned via the good path on the east side of Lake Lillian.
