The turnoff for Ghost Ranch is on Hwy 84... 14.5 miles NW of Abiquiu, New Mexico.

The trailhead for Kitchen Mesa is located behind the dining hall at Ghost Ranch... the hike is 5 miles roundtrip, gaining 600 feet of elevation.
