We parked at the end of FS-4315... near 5000 feet... less than a minute of hiking to reach the Sasse Mountain Trail.

The first mile or so of the Sasse Mountain Trail #1340 was a combination of trail and jeep road... this trail is open to bikes... both motorized and non-motorized.

We have reached the junction of the Jolly Mountain Trail and the Jolly Creek Trail... and we will now take the Jolly Creek Trail... and quickly give back 500 feet of elevation.

A different type of sign in the same area as the sign in the previous photo... the Yellow Hill Trail #1222 actually starts at the top of Jolly Mtn and goes south to Humerus Hill, Elbow Peak and on to Yellow Hill.
