Thorp Mountain - 10.24.2014
Directions from the Brick Tavern in Roslyn, Washington, to the Knox Creek Trailhead... where we started our hike to Thorp Mountain.

After driving a combination of FS-4308 and FS-4308-120 we parked at 4200 feet... where we could see fresh snow higher up.
|
We will start on the Knox Creek Trail and follow it for a mile up to Kachess Ridge.

We have reached Kachess Ridge (~5300') and the Kachess Ridge Trail... if you go to the left, you will reach the French Cabin Creek Trail in 2 miles... but we will go right and hike a mile to the Thorp Mountain Trail.

After hiking a total of two miles we have reached the Thorp Mountain Trail #1315.2 and it will get us up to the Lookout on the summit.
