The Coachella Valley Preserve is located a short distance from the town of Palm Desert, California... the weather was very marginal this day so we decided to check out the area.

We decided to make the short hike to McCallum Pond.

Denali Girl and Anna Purna at McCallum Pond... the hike was 1.8 miles roundtrip, gaining 182 feet of elevation.
