Tolmie Peak, Howard Peak and N. Howard Peak - 9.6.2019
The trail for Tolmie Peak starts on the west side of Mowich Lake (4929')... look for the sign just as you arrive at Mowich Lake.

The beginning of the hike goes along the west shore of Mowich Lake... Fay Peak is in the distance.

After hiking ~1 mile we left the Wonderland Trail and headed for Eunice Lake and Tolmie Peak.

After hiking a total of 2 miles we arrived at Eunice Lake... the Tolmie Peak Lookout is above on the left... the Tolmie Peak summit is above in the middle of the photo.

After we got back to the lookout we traced our steps an eighth of a mile and headed cross country for Howard Peak in the right foreground (it is in the shade)... Florence Peak is on the far left.

Hooking up with tomman and Denali Girl to hike back to the car... we can see the lookout on the ridge above.

On the way back to the car we took a one minute walk over to Ipsut Pass for this view before hiking the one mile back to the car... the hike was 7.9 miles roundtrip, gaining 1878 feet of elevation.
