Park at the Split Rock trailhead in Joshua Tree National Park.
We are doing the loop trail in a clockwise direction... awesome rocks all over the place.
A rock formation called 'The Tulip'.
A pano shot... the rock wall in the right center of the photo is called 'Isles in the Sky'.
The 'Isles in the Sky' rock wall... with climbers on a route called 'The Dolphin'... other climbers to their right have a rope strung on 'Bird of Fire'.
Looks like an orangutan up there on the left.
Almost finishing up the loop.
Nearing the split rock on the left... near the parking lot.
Back at the trailhead... now let's go off-trail and scramble up to the top of those rocks out there in the center of the photo.
Denali Girl and Star Dancer heading up to the rocks above the 'Cling or Fling Corridor'.
Heading for the gap in the rocks above.
I have gone through the gap... now looking back through the gap... waiting on the ladies.
Star Dancer went back down a short distance to wait on us.
Nanda on top of the rock... with Eagle Cliff on the right horizon.
Denali Girl on top of the rocks.
A pano shot from on top of the rocks... looking out to the Split Rock parking lot... with the Pinto Mountains on the horizon.
Coming down from the top of the rocks above the 'Cling or Fling Corridor'.
Heading back down for the parking lot.
Scrambling down for the parking lot.
