Hidden Way Loops - 1.10.2025
We parked at the very popular paved parking lot for the Hidden Valley Nature Trail in Joshua Tree National Park.

The first tenth of a mile goes through a very narrow section of the trail... but the trail is in excellent condition.

After hiking a tenth of a mile we have reached the very open section of the popular one mile loop trail... and we are starting the loop in a clockwise direction.

After hiking the loop for approximately a half mile we are looking back where we entered the open section of Hidden Valley in the center of the photo.

After hiking the half mile in the very popular loop of Hidden Valley we have left the popular section of the trail and headed NW in what I call the hidden section of Hidden Valley.

Continuing to hike NW in the hidden section of Hidden Valley... left-to-right, Star Dancer, Bear Belle, Denali Girl and Ranger Steve.

We have returned to the very popular Hidden Valley Loop Trail... and we will continue hiking clockwise to complete the loop that we started earlier in the day.

Done with the loop and only a stone's throw from our car... the hike was a total of 3.2 miles, gaining 281 feet of elevation.
