Tumalo Mountain - 7.11.2025
We parked at the Dutchman Flat Sno-Park... across the highway from the Sunrise Lodge entrance to Mount Bachelor. Then started hiking on Tumalo Mountain Trail #38.

The first mile of the trail is in the forest... and it is a mildly steep trail.

Pretty much out of the woods after a mile of hiking... and the summit is up there somewhere.

Nearing the 7,775 foot summit of Tumalo Mountain... here looking SW out to Mount Bachelor.

After hiking 2.2 miles and gaining a little over 1,400 feet of elevation we are standing on the 7,775 summit of Tumalo Mountain... looking north to South Sister on the left... with Middle Sister to the right of South Sister... and Broken Top in the right-center part of the photo... with part of Tam McArthur Ridge on the extreme far right in the photo.
